Built in 1776, The Owl has been a McMullens pub since 1898. It was rebuilt in 1975 but still retains a cosy and characterful interior, with open fires and wood panelling. Situated in the heart of Epping Forest we are perfectly positioned for a pit stop whilst you explore the outstanding forest and countryside.
With a warm & cosy atmosphere, The Owl boasts a large bar & dining area, a private function room and a very large garden with plenty of benches, covered outdoor tables, patio, children’s play area and a huge BBQ for Al fresco dining. We are family friendly and welcome your four legged friends.
We have a wide range of lagers, cask ales, ciders and craft beers on draught, and an extensive wine, gin and spirit list.
